Hot off the heels of its last Studio Canal collaboration, The Graduate, Grey Matter Art has tackled one of the biggest franchises around: The Terminator.

Teaming up again with talented polish artist Grzegorz Domaradzki ("Gabz"), GMA will release a diptych of the Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day. However, fans will have to wait until January to get a peak at Terminator 2, as it will be released roughly one month after "The Terminator" release.

Gabz has once again done a great job at capturing the film through a single main image, and sprinkling that image with smaller scenes from the film. And while it's nearly impossible to get full Arnold likeness rights, Gabz did manage to sneak a partial peak of him in the center of the print. Additionally, GMA has decided to release a foil variant of this print, which seems like a perfect choice for the monochromatic terminator.

Here is what Gabz had to say about working on the project:

"The Terminator" and "Terminator 2: Judgement Day" are both one of those movies I always wanted to work on, so when Mike Gregory from Grey Matter Art approached me with the offer, it was like a dream come true. I wanted something with strong imagery, action packed, and with a glimpse of the future as seen in both movies. While I'm hoping the artworks will speak for themselves, two things worth pointing out is that the general concept was inspired by an interview with James Cameron I read a while back, in which he stated that he had a dream about a cyborg/robot coming out of the flames, and as we all know the rest is pretty much a cinema history. The other thing I wanted, was to design both posters to form a diptych."

Drop Details: These will be released on December 16 at a random time between 1 and 2PM EST on the GMA shop page. The regular is an edition of 325 and will cost $50; the variant has a run of 175 and will cost $75, and the Foil is an edition of 50 and will cost $125. Each print measures 24x36.

To all those going for these, good luck!
