GMA Teams Up with Tom Whalen, Matt Ferguson and Raid71 for Marvel Series
Ferguson - Captain America Regular Edition
Last week, we told you that GMA would be at New York Comic Con releasing "Cocaine Fiend" by Timothy Pittides. This week, we're happy to announce that GMA also has a ton of great new Marvel prints scheduled to drop at NYCC.
Whalen - Guardians of the Galaxy Regular
First up, we have Matt Ferguson continuing his Phase 1 Marvel Film series, with Captain America: The First Avenger. Matt does a great job of keeping his Marvel work consistent in terms of style and feel, and Captain America is a worthy edition to the series.
Next up, GMA has brought on two great artists that they've never worked with before: Tom Whalen and Raid71.
Whalen - Guardians of the Galaxy Foil
Tom's piece is for Guardians of the Galaxy and it came out incredibly well. He worked in the style he utilized for both his 80s monsters print and his robots print, and it fits perfectly here.
Ferguson - Captain America Foil
Last but not least, Raid71 crafted an art print for Spider-Man vs Venom. Spider
Man and Venom both came out great with the bright neon city in the background. It's reminiscent of Raid's great prints for Blade Runner/Taxi Driver, so fans should be rushing to get their hands on it.
Whalen - Guardians of the Galaxy Variant
All in all it's a very impressive lineup and we hope to see more from all of the artists in the future.
